What's your job?

Just curious - does anyone here have a job on the go? If so, where do you work, and what do you do? 9-to-5, freelancing, or juggling multiple gigs, it’d be cool to hear about what you’re up to?

I'm employed as a creative director (fulltime job consisting of design, development, marketing, project management & team leadership) and freelancing on the side (design, development).

I've been in the retail and food industry all of my life. I currently work at the arts and crafts retail store, Michaels. I am on the replenishment team where we unload trucks, stock freight, do inventory-related stuff, etc.

I am the operations manager for a global non-profit. I oversee 6 properties; 15 vehicles and I manage a crew of 5 guys. We never have a dull moment.

I work at US Bank, I work in the national lockbox area of the bank so I don't directly work with the public. Instead, I extract the checks that people send in the mail to pay off their credit cards and personal loans. I also sometimes do data entry, this is when we actually process the checks and the money comes out of the people's accounts. I've been working there for three months now and I love it! I just recently learned how to extract the personal loans account the other day.

Not employed, but I am a volunteer for an armed forces charity, and had only started it this week (where I do the IT/admin side of things). I'm also in the process of having a secondary role elsewhere as an accountant.

I'm not working at the moment but I'm studying a part time business qualifications.

Emergency Services

Director of Ops for an aviation company as well as recent new business owner for a home improvement / renovations company.

I work as a licensed broker for a large brokerage firm. Basically M-F, 9-5. Typically placing trades for clients or explaining retirement accounts, etc.

For me you might guess that I'm a software developer :) Always had a fascination with programming and seeing things come to life.

Well I’m going to seem boring in comparison to some of you…. I’m a retired nurse. Used to work in what was called back in the day..a cottage hospital. Basically a much smaller hospital consisting of six wards.. All for the elderly. I loved my job.

Me I do a mix of things. I do a little digital work, some personal online projects, sometimes I help people to manage their communities. One income stream is not always enough again especially with prices of things rising everywhere.

I work in social services as their IT person.
