Email Validation By Device

I originally used email validation to activate my account on my iPhone and it did not validate my account. So, I went to my email on my Google Chromebook and clicked the activation link after I re-sent the validation email, and it worked. With that being said, either it was a temporary glitch or you can only validate the email on the device you register on.

I originally used the Gmail app on my iPhone 11.

There's nothing in the code that would stop you from validating your email on a per-device basis. I'm currently of the mindset that it was probably a temporary glitch but I will do some experimentation and see if I can reproduce.

If anyone else reproduces this issue, then please let me know! :)

It likely was, as it was my first email verification method.
