I’m happy to share that board registrations are officially open again.
ForumSpark will continue supporting community owners who want to build and grow their own forums, and I’m proud to say I’ve taken over the service from Jamie.
First, I want to thank Jamie for the opportunity and the trust. I’m forever grateful to continue what he started and to build upon the foundation that’s already there.
ForumSpark was originally created as a nostalgic throwback to ZetaBoards. That inspiration played an important role in its early identity. But as we move forward, I believe it’s time for ForumSpark to stand firmly on its own.
Rather than leaning on nostalgia, the goal now is to systematically shape ForumSpark into a modern platform with its own identity, one that respects the roots of forum communities while confidently embracing where they’re headed next.
Taking over ForumSpark hasn’t been without its challenges. There is a lot to review, understand, and refine. However, I’m fully committed to making this work, and to making it better.
Over the coming months, you can expect continued development and steady improvements. My focus will be on:
- Improving content discovery
- Expanding plugin capabilities
- Introducing a more flexible and modern theme system
- Strengthening overall stability and performance
If you’ve been waiting to start your own forum, now is the time.
Thank you for your support,
Cedric
