Hi everyone,

I've just released ForumSpark 1.3.2. This update includes several CSS fixes and general improvements, along with a few new features.

What's new in this version:

  • Pages can now use HTML or BBCode as the content format
  • Added multiple account / alias support
  • Added secondary group support
  • Redirect forums can now optionally open in a new window
  • Fixed double posting issue where it would duplicate content when hitting Add Reply twice.

Multiple Account Support:
It's now possible to post under an alias, which can be especially useful for RPG-style communities or forums where members use multiple characters.

Admins can enable or disable this feature from the settings:

When enabled, a new link will appear on the user profile page:

Aliases will also appear on the public profile page, and a tooltip will indicate which account owns the alias.

Secondary Groups Support:

You can now assign secondary groups to members. This allows you to grant access to certain forums or permissions without changing a member’s primary group.

As always, if you run into any issues or have suggestions for future improvements, feel free to let me know. Feedback is always welcome and helps make ForumSpark better with every release.

Thanks to everyone using and showing your support!

Some things are stripped due to security measures. But the usual HTML/CSS works. When I update the docs, I’ll provide a full list of what’s possible and what not.

Thanks for the external redirect feature. :)

Awesome thank you for implementing a multi account feature! :D Man all these updates have been awesome and you've released them so quickly too. I can't wait to see what other features you'll add to Forum Spark, the future looks bright for FS! Hopefully we'll see some roleplaying forums hosted on FS soon.
