Adding Clickable Emoticons - sizing gets reduced

I've been trying to add some of the old animated gif emoticons I've collected, but when I put them in the system (using a link to imgbb), they get reduced so I can't even see what they are. Is there a way on my end that I can force the size to be larger?

I think what's happening is that there is a default for height right now?

I have not tried to add gif emoticons yet, so I don’t really know what to advise here. But I’ll have a try myself this afternoon and see what’s happening.

The motion works, they're just too short in height from the original and can barely be seen on here, as opposed to other sites that use them.

Can you share a link of a thread where a guest can view the emoticon, thank you.

You could always resize a specific emoticon with CSS, for example:

img[alt=":D"] {
width: #px;
height: #px;
}

Here is the original:

Here is how it looks in use:

You can see how the system automatically reduces the height.

Indeed, because ideally emoticons would be svg files.

I can implement an overwrite for gifs in emoticons to follow the same size though. For now Cory's solution is probably the best way.
