Short Notice: Planned Downtime - Monday Afternoon

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the short notice, but we’re planning a short maintenance window tomorrow afternoon. Monday afternoons are usually one of the quietest periods on the forums, which makes it the best time to do this.

We’ll be upgrading the server to one with more memory and resources, as we’re starting to get close to the limits of the current one. The upgrade should only take a few minutes, but the forums will be temporarily offline while the server is upgraded. As a result, the FS Service should run smoother and faster!

Estimated time window:

• 15:00 (CET)
• 14:00 (UK)
• 09:00 (Eastern US)
• 06:00 (Pacific US)

I also have ForumSpark 1.3.3 planned for release tomorrow, which includes a few nice improvements. I’ll share more details about that on Monday.

Man gotta do what a man gotta do :) I be out so it won't affect me, but as soon as I'm back home late afternoon, it should be all completed and upgraded

I'll most likely be sleeping at that time since it's 8:00 AM here in the central time zone but thank you for the heads up Cedric! I look forward to the new update you roll out, I had a feeling you'd have to upgrade the server sooner than later since there's been a few people creating forums lately.

A quick update: The upgrade went smoothly and didn't take longer than 5 minutes. No more downtime expected.
