Hi everyone!

Among a better infrastructure for ForumSpark, I have also pushed some improvements and new features:

  • Achievement system
  • New Profile page
  • Bulletins

Achievements (Suggestion by Ravenfreak):
ForumSpark now includes 34 built-in achievements across 5 categories: Posting, Community, Engagement, Milestones, and Special. All achievements are fully configurable, so you can easily change their names or icons if needed. Administrators can also add additional achievements.

  • There are 4 tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum - each with its own badge style and point value.
Achievements are awarded automatically as you participate: create your first post, start a thread, hit post milestones (10, 50, 100, 500, 1000+), earn reactions, and more
  • Progress tracking on milestone-based achievements so you can see how close you are to the next one.
  • Secret achievements - some are hidden until you unlock them
  • Trophy Case - a new "Achievements" tab on your profile shows every achievement you've earned (and the ones you're still working toward)
  • Badge Showcase - Enable or disable this setting to choose from 1-6 of your favorite achievements to display prominently on your profile header, in your post sidebar, and in user hover tooltips
  • Notifications - you'll get a notification the moment you unlock a new achievement
  • A leaderboard will be available soon.

Some images:

New Profile Page:
To support the new achievement system, the profile page has been redesigned. The previous layout worked well, but it did not allow achievements and upcoming features to be integrated cleanly.

  • "Reaction Score" has been renamed to Reputation across the board
  • The "Member #" line has been removed from the mini-profile sidebar for a cleaner look
  • Clickable tabs for posts, topics and best answer filtering

Bulletins:
Administrators can now display simple notices, announcements, or friendly messages to visitors using the new Bulletins system.

  • Able to use CSS/HTML in bulletins
  • Three display positions: Header bar, above content, and below content
  • 7+1 preset designs: Primary, Accent, Info, Warning, Success, Dark, Light + Custom CSS
  • Set a schedule and expiration time
  • Able to set bulletins per group

These features are now implemented on your site and ready for use. As always, feedback is welcome.

Enjoy! 🚀

PS: For theme designers, there are some new CSS classes, I'll update our docs later this week to include all new classes.

Achievement system is cool. I hadn't seen this thread so I posted on my forum and I was confused what was going on. Amazing work.

:) More edits to do now LOL - with the new "New Profile page" looks better, I see that's gonna be edited and improved over time, like, adding profile images, banner and whatnot, so I'm gonna edit the colour change more....

I'm already hitting 10K mark now for the characters limit :(

I'll increase that in the next release.

Nice I'm happy to see you've added the achievements system to Forum Spark! :) I mentioned the service on Reddit earlier when someone was discussing the what ifs about Reddit going down the route that Discord is, who knows maybe someone else will see that response and use Forum Spark for their next community? Thank you for all the hard work you've been putting into Forum Spark Cedric!

This is looking really awesome. I'd love to make a forum on ForumSpark but i don't know what i'd put up that wouldn't be a carbon copy of Revillution.

I have a few ideas but eh......do people need codebreaker/gameshark codes anymore? :P

Something.....something......dark side.....something something something.....complete....

Glad you like it and that it makes you want to create a forum. ^_^
As for ideas, there’s still plenty of space to fill, so feel free to try anything - or even multiple ideas.

Hey I'd be down for a new codebreaker/gameshark code forum! I'm sure a Discord server exists but since I prefer forums I'd rather see a forum for that! You could even go as far as adding discussions for Cheat Engine too, which allows gamers to use cheats for more modern games that don't have Pro Action Replay/Gameshark or Codebreaker support. If you do make it, I'd gladly join in a heartbeat!

Yeah I think I will. I just don't know what name to go with......I could revive my very first site (Codes Unlimited) or I could make a whole new forum with a new name.......
