A solution to no mass email.....

I understand why the mass email members option isn't there in the admin panel. I do have a workaround.....you can utilize the Jcink method for non-premium subscribers.... how this works is you click on the "Mass Email" option in the admin panel, then there's your list of groups, you select which ones you wish to send a mass email to, and hit "Generarte email list." then what it does is it'll fire back a list of user emails that were apart of the usergroups you selected.

From there, you use your favorite email service, IE: Gmail, and send an email that way, while putting the list of emails in the CC box, so their email stays private from others.

Neat idea/workaround right? :) Think this is something that can be done, Cedric?

An export list is definitely possible.

I think that'd probably be the best compromise tbh.

Another possibility is adding settings where you can overwrite our email server to use your own. Basically using SMTP or MX records. But I’d need to look into it how easy it is to implement. Haven’t done it before.

Food for thought… 🤔
