'Sup everyone, first of all, tysm for everything this platform has to offer. I just started my forum, and for some reason, I can’t create new sections. I deleted the default sections that come with the site, but even before that, it wouldn’t let me create anything new. I’ve checked every single option there is, and it still isn’t working. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s genuinely a bug.
For some reason, I can't create new sections.
Hello,
Go to your Admin Control Panel > Under forum sections >> Create Sections >> To create Categories, leave the area of location blank. Once those are created you can connect sections/forums the same way by setting them in the tree that forum should appear in.

I did exactly what you said, but it seems like the categories aren't being created at all. At first, I thought it was a problem with my browser, so I tried doing the same thing in Brave, but the problem persists. It's as if nothing is being created at all 😿
Make sure you submit the permissions that you can view it: administrators, global moderators, moderators, members.

Apparently, I managed to fix the problem just by enabling link redirection and adding a link to the forum's homepage LOL?
I turned it off, and now everything's working fine. Anyway, thanks for your replies, bro ❤️
No, you're not mistaking, there is a bug. I think it has to do with my Link Directory extension.
I'll sort this out today. Thanks for letting me know!
And welcome to ForumSpark. 🙂

This has been fixed. I accidentally overwrote something earlier in the LD extension and it caused this issue.
