As a platform, we always want to support you in any way possible. We try to make everything as easy as possible, so you don't need any knowledge to start a community. But we also want you to be able to earn money through your community. Member subscriptions make that possible.
Now, I want to be honest upfront, subscriptions are only available for Premium ForumSpark boards. Our Launch plan will give you access to basic subscriptions. Which is perfectly fine to start with. You can setup one subscription plan, receive income and give value to your members. Our Earn plan will give you a much more advanced experience. Think about coupons, multiple payment processors, multiple plans, analytics, revenue dashboard, etc.

For the differences, here is a table:

|---|---|---|---|
PayPal payments | — | ✓ | ✓ |
Stripe payments | — | — | ✓ |
Number of plans | — | 1 | Unlimited |
Plan image & description | — | ✓ | ✓ |

Trial days | — | ✓ | ✓ |
Monthly + yearly billing | — | ✓ | ✓ |
Coupons / discount codes | — | — | ✓ |

I'm currently about 90% done with Subscriptions. But I expect this to be release sometime next week.
