Editor Additions

Don't know if this is possible but i know on other forum software you can just just paste a link to a video from various other video sharing sites besides YouTube, such as Twitch and Odysee among others, and it auto embeds it, you can also do the same thing from Gif sites like Giphy and Tenor and i just wonder is something like that possible with FS? If so I'd like to suggest it.

Yes, you can paste a link to a video which will auto embed. But other than YouTube, not much has been added yet. Feel free to provide a full list of wanted services and I'll see what I can do. 🙂

For videos, I'd say Twitch, Odysee, Rumble and X, to go with YouTube would be a good start.

For Gifs, I'd Say Giphy and Tenor would be good.

I'm sure there are others that could be added and others are welcome to add to the list but that would be a good start I'd think.

@Cedric I see you found some upgrades to the editor. Are there any for adding more support to different video platforms? Right now we have the external code but being built in is always more ideal.

Yeah, I didn’t really look into it all that much with the last round, but promise to take a look soon. 👍

So, in the next version the embedding videos will be possible by pasting the link in the editor:

Youtube (including /watch, /shorts, /live, /embed) , Vimeo, Dailymotion, Streamable, Loom, Twitch, TikTok, Facebook, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc.

Then an additional list (enable/disable from ACP Editor)
