Topic Filtering by Author, Date, Replies, Views, and More

Hello,

I would like to suggest adding advanced filtering and sorting options for topics within forum sections. For example, allowing users to filter topics by thread title, author, post date, number of replies, and view count, as well as sort them alphabetically (A–Z / Z–A), by newest/oldest, most replies, or most views.

I believe these features would make it much easier for users to find the content they are looking for and improve the overall browsing experience.

I hope you will consider implementing this enhancement in a future update.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not going to say no to this but it may not be immediate either. We have some new filters coming up in 2.0. Such as: Latest, Trending, Most replies, Unanswered, Unread, Participating, Watched, etc. Additionally content discovery is also improved by having a dynamic new search based on Meilisearch, which already gives much better results than what we have now. Additionally, there will be an "Ask" modus where a member asks a question and gets one clear answer, synthesized from previous posts on the board, with every source linked. Years of archived topics become a knowledge base instead of a search results page. Although the ask feature is only for Premium board holders.
