We’re getting close to 2.0 now, and a lot of this release is groundwork to make that jump smoother and break less along the way.
But it’s not all plumbing - there’s a big new feature for anyone who likes their board just so, a proper “install it like an app” upgrade, and a handful of quality-of-life touches that should make day-to-day running of your board a little nicer.
Menu Builder
New
This is the headline. You can now build your board’s navigation exactly how you want it, with a proper drag-and-drop menu builder.
Reorder items by dragging, nest items inside one another to create dropdowns, and add your own custom links alongside the built-in destinations. Menus are fully nestable, so you’re no longer stuck with a flat row of links. You can group related areas together and keep the top bar tidy.
It works the way you’d hope: drag to reposition, drop to nest, and what you build is what your members see. The navigation is yours to shape.
Light & Dark Mode
Improved
We have improved the light and dark mode, giving them a more comfortable way to browse depending on their preference, device, or time of day. Instead of just a toggle, there is now a third option to respect the system they're browsing with. Additionally, as an admin you can now select a default light or dark mode and disable one or the other per theme.
Guided Setup Checklist
New
New boards can be a bit of a blank canvas. There’s now a setup checklist on the admin dashboard that walks you through the key first steps to get a board ready, so nothing important gets missed early on.

As always, there’s bound to be some finetuning left now that this is all live, and I’ll keep chipping away at it.

A Note About Future Updates
I also want to mention that, from this point on, there’s a good chance we won’t see many new features until FS 2.0 has been released.
FS 2.0 is currently in development and is our main focus. Unless something critical needs to be addressed, new features and smaller bug-fix updates may be limited while work continues on the bigger release.
