Categories with widgets?

I was just thinking, would it be possible to put widgets into categories in place of regular forums?

For example category 1 with 4 forums.

Category 2 with 1-2 widgets.

Category 3 with 2 forums.

Essentially just another spot for widgets.

Not at the moment. It’s a proper suggestion though. If we could have widgets having ID’s and a call from that ID/code, then we can basically put it in custom templates. Or I can also extend the widget studio a little further where there are placements possible between categories.

That actually is a better way of doing it than my suggestion. 😄 Anyway, it was just a thought I had, it could potentially be very useful.
