Used License Vs. New License

Currently, I have two forums on Xenforo, I bought the license from another forum owners. I bought from another user because I wanted to save money. When you start a forum, do you buy license from another person (used license) to save money or do you buy from the official site?

My brother, if money isn't available, I understand why someone would buy a used license. Starting forums isn’t cheap at all. Hosting, domain, software, everything adds up. But personally I prefer buying direct from XenForo if possible.

Well, if I can afford buying directly from XenForo, I wouldn't mind doing that but unfortunately it's very expensive. This is why I don't have any problem with buying a used License from another forum owner as long as I'm buying from a credible owner.
