Custom CSS for light and dark?

I've used custom CSS for certain things on the forum, but it seems like it transfers between both light and dark. Is there any way to have custom CSS separate? So different sets of custom CSS for light and dark? For example, if I use a background image on light that same background is there on dark.

I would suggest holding off doing any custom work until 2.0 is released, which is happening soon.
